POST 5

When I was a child my father rent films in a Errol's ever weekend .This films was a thrillers, horror movies, comedians in anothers kind of films.
Horror movies were my favourites, but I could not sleep in the night so I asked my mother to bed with me.
Because Horror films I started to be afraid of my dolls and I hid under the sheets so they could not attack me in the night. In at that time was terrible but now it's funny to remember.

A couple of years after these stores became known blockbuster and always went full the weekend, especially on 19 September during a military parade, I think that because the television that day was very boring.Rent movies it becames in a regular practice at the weekend for our family.
Unfortunately one day the store went bankrupt and we had not other shop where we can rent movies near of our home, that is why we now no more movies rented so far.
Now we watch movies in the cable tv, but sometimes the movies are so old or repeated too.

We went to the cinema near of my house too, but that cinema went bankrupt too it was very sad for us too becausa these cinema was very cheap too.

Now we go to the cinema a couple of times a year because the cinema is very expensive.
Recently went to the movies with my father normandie art, this cinema is cheaper and always has good movies.

I don't have a one favourite movie but the last movie that I see and I like it very much is おくりびと ("Final de partida" in spanish). This film is very beautiful!
The movie called おくりびと begins with the scene of an orchestra and that at end
of their concert director announces that the orchestra should be dissolved . Daigo Kobayashi (Masahiro Motoki) was the young cellist.
Disappointed decided to return to his hometown with his wife to find work and start again .
Daigo began to seek employment in the newspaper and sees a notice entitled "Departures",
Daigo thinks it is an ad from a travel agency looking for new employees but really the notice is for people interested in creating music and participle in a ritual called "Nokanshi" (it is a beautiful farewell to the deceased).
Daigo is surprised and a little scared of his work but gradually takes more love for this art and begins to improve.
Unfortunately everything is worse when he is discovered by his neighbors and his wife who are scared of his job and reject his.

Since of this moment the film goes charming throught beautiful farewell ceremonies .
I have seen this movie once this year but Ican still remember the beautiful scenes and I recommend specially to see in family.

POST 3 Music in My Life

Since ancient times music has been an instrument to express the human soul. Feelings and emotions are hard to explain in words however thankfully to music we can transmit those concepts easily. In my life music is an extension to my emotions, so I can’t live without it.
Music has the effect to take me deeper in my emotions, lighting up or making even darker my life. This is the reason because although I love music I’m very careful with the songs I listen.

As my emotions are wide and varied I like many music styles. From techno to rock all depends of my state of mind that day.
However I dislike some music styles. I dislike trendy styles, like reggaeton and his derivatives.
I like music in general but I have my favourite too. My favourite singer is Sandro. I love his songs and his career. I think he was the first South American rockstar, I love his performances. My grandmother is a big fan of Sandro so I grew up listening his songs. That’s because when I listen his songs I evoke my childhood memories, I feel happy and calm.
I have gone to many concerts. I think that feeling the music alive and surrounded of thousands fans like you is a unique experience.
I listen the radio and my own music collection. When I am at home I listen the radio very loud and when I’m travelling I listen my own collection.
I download the music I like from internet because I don’t have money at this time to buy CDs. Maybe in the future I’ll have all my collection in original CDs.
I don’t play any instruments but I think I sing very well. I love to go to karaokes with my friends because is very fun.
My first memory learning a song maybe was songs from Mazapán (A music group for child) and Cachureos (a tv show). I loved to sing “Una cuncuna amarilla” with my mom when I was a little girl.

I think music is very important to me in the same way is important to the rest of the world. A world without music would be certainly emotionally flat and less communicative than today. A world without music is like a bird with broken wings, a frustrated dream, a mute soul.

ENGLISH 4: POST 1 My first semester's experience

Hello classmates and teacher!

In the last semester I learn about the diferents areas from my career, this is very important because now I know more about the diversity of things that I can develop as a psychologist and this makes me very happy with my university studies.

At some moment I found myself very sad and disillusioned because I did not find something to make me feel passionate and want to practice the rest of my life but in that moment I found it a website which showed a post graduate and master's degree in art therapy .This post graduate is very interesting because it combines the art with medicine, I learned more about this therapy because I am volunteer in the art room of the Teleton where the teacher is a young woman who graduated from art studies in the "Universidad Católica" and I discovered that she makes a post-graduate study of art therapy in arts faculty of the Universidad de Chile. She explain me some difficulties in this work but I still volunteer I realized how important and rewarding it can be.After all this I decided to take curse of paint on the faculty of arts and I am very happy with this decision, the teacher is called Enrique Matthey and he is a important painter of Chile and I am really proud to belong to that class.

About the sports I still don't take a sport course but I hope to take swimming class soon! because the last time I went to ask the temperature of the pool was bad and it was too cold for swimming.
The end of the semester was very nice and I hope that this semester was similar or better yet!

Hello Miss and classmates, today I Would like to talk about "My ideal job"
I have very clear what would be my dream job because I have seen from near, through volunteering in which I participate every Wednesday in the institution "Teleton".
I participate as a volunteer in the arts room where there is an art teacher with graduate studies in art therapy. I while, wash the brush, clean the tables and easels and I help to paint to children with more disabilities.
This work is really nice because I like art and I like help people especially children, and this children are very funny, sympathetic and grateful.
To work as an art therapist, I have to do a Masters of Art Therapy in the Faculty of Arts at the University of Chile, the condition is that I graduated from one area of health or art and to present a portfolio of artistic works,so that from this second semester I plan to take classes in the faculty of arts, especially practical classes such as painting, ceramics, engraving, among others.
Since I was in college I wanted to work on something that will mix art with healing, in this case, psychologica, and now that I discovered the art therapy, I will do my best to work on this.
P.D: This photo was taken on Wednesday 9 June by a photographer from "La Cuarta" in the art workshop where I volunteer in the foundation Teleton.

Hello classmates and Miss!, this picture was taken for my grandmother when we went to Puerto Montt with my grandfather and my mother too.

Those vacations were very important for me, despite I was very small, I have many remenbers of this travel as when we went to craft fair an my grandfather bought me a "chapulin colorado's marionette and I played with its every days until the puppet broke, or when my mother bought us a "empanada de pino"and I thought that the "pino" had made with the pine(the tree).

That vacations , I was 7 years old and I felt very happy and exciting for the games that had in that amusement park, the ducks seemed to be very fast for me.

I like this pic because it represent all the happiness that I had in that moment, because I lived so much experiences that before I did not know as to travel in a train, to go for boat, to play very much with my grandfather and my grand mother , among other things.

The different stereotypes in the Social Sciences's Faculty

The Faculty has many types of persons, it depends of the origin of this, the music that they listen, where they live , their friends, or their aspirations, among other things.

For me , the persons more striking are the "neo- hippies", this people is characterized for use hand made woolen clothes and america clothes, especially if it is discolored or chipped.

The neo-hippies seems to be very relaxed but they are very chic(this does not apply to all), they buy their clothes in craft fairs, unfortunately this is often very expensive because of the craftsmanship of chili are made for tourists and with this the hippie's spirit is lost.

Other stereotype in the Social's Faculty are the leaders or political activists, these type of people love to manage, always greet many people, are always in a hurry, and they are very nice when they want to convince you of something.

Other stereotype are the "nerds" but not all boring like in the movies no less vindictive.

The nerds are very responsible and they never miss a class, their notebooks

are always full and always know when they come the next test or works, although some "nerds" are not like that, if not what else to know about the classes know more than computer games and blogs.

There are other types of people in college but differ very little among themselves to fall into a stereotype.

I consider myself as a person with differents likes and maybe I have a bit of everything.

My favourite piece of technology

My favourite piece of technology is my radio,
I think that the radios are the best invention because they let accompany the persons since many years, as if someone talking and singing. Also shortened distances between the people.
I think that the radios is the best piece of technology because the emotions are best transmitted by the voices, the intonation and volume.
Throughout my life, I received about five radios, the first radio that I received was given for my grandfather and maked me very happy!
My last radio was given for my parents the last Christmas, it is black , medium size, brand "Phillips", and it sounds very very good!
The last time I used my radio for know the latest groups and soloist of music.
I can connect my radio with my computer and download new music or listen old music that taking me to old memories.
I used my radio every time, specially when I have to make university's works, so I feel that time goes very quickly because the music makes me feel funny.

All without music would be more sad and boring!

My favourite trip

The most significant trip that I had was when I travelled to Puerto Montt with my Grandfather,My grandmother and my mother
I had 8 years old and this experiencie was very fabulous for me.
Our trip was in the summer in spite of was very cold in the south of Chile.
The day that we left Santiago we went to "Estacion Central" for take the train to the south .
The train was very beautiful! The seats were of a beautiful green and the material of floor were seems like a wood.
I remember that the travel was very long and we ates tomatos with salt, all the time.
Finally ,we arrived to Puerto Montt in the night of the second day of travel, I was very exciting !
We stayed in a friend's house and the first day in this house I suffered a terrible situation...I wet the bed!My grandfather started to sing the song "Puerto Montt"of the "Los Iracundos" but instead of "Puerto Montt" He was singing "Puerto Meooon" that it is terrible but funny for my family and me.
In this travel we met The "Chiloé" Island too, for this we had that take a boat to move from side to side.
I can't remember everything that occurred, but I remember that I was very happy and my grandfather and me done many funny things that time .
The travel to Puerto Montt is my favourite trip because We toured many places in southern ,as well this travel was the first and the last time that I travelled in a old and classic train and because it is one of the most beautiful memories I have with my grandfather.

About my favorite Psychologist

I haven't a one favorite expert in psychology but I remember a autor called Leon Festinger because he make a great theory about the cognitions.
Leon Festinger(May 08, 1919 – Feb 11, 1989) was born in Nueva York, United States .
He Studied psychology at the University of Iowa and after this he served as teacher at the same university.
Festinger specialized in the Social Area of psychology and he works in interesting studies about this area.
I like Festinger because he revolutionized the field of social psychology and his theories have been multiple applications in cognitive studies related to motivation,
decision making among others.

"Theory of Cognitive Dissonance" was a his high succes, in this theory Leon raises that when there is a contradiction between what we do and what we think it causes a cognitive dissonance and that human beings try to solve this with a series of adaptive mechanisms that we resolve the contradiction.

My earthquake's experiencie

When it happened the earthquake, I was in my house in the second floor sleeping with my sister Carolina, I had no fear because I am got used to earthquake because when I was a child I felt many
earth tremors , at least that I remember.

My mother started to scream but my sister and me never felt fear because both are brave but our other sister was very nervious.

When the earthquake finished every family started to call each other and after that we could be calm .
I was sad every time I saw the news about the earthquake and disasters that it left behind , My sisters were sad too.
One week after the earthquake some friends and I went to help to the people affected by earthquake , My friends traveled to the most affected areas and I worked in a bank associated with the Teleton organized to confront the damage caused by the earthquake.
